Our Homes
Modern mountain design, managed from the first sketch to move-in day.

Company Overview
Developers and general contractors of the Lost Sierra
Most custom home builders go to work once the architect hands them a set of plans. We start earlier.
As both the developer and the general contractor, Lost Sierra Homes is at the table while the home is being designed, which is where most of the cost of a house is actually decided. We work with architects known for both design quality and buildability, and our in-house interior design team is part of the project from the beginning, offered to clients at a reduced cost. The result is a home designed for its community and its site, with a budget that holds because the people who drew it are the same people who build it.
Our team has been building in the Sierra since the early 2010s, first as TD Homes and now as Lost Sierra Homes. With 30 custom homes completed across Schaffer’s Mill, Martis Camp, and Old Greenwood, and new homes underway in Grizzly Ranch, we bring an unusual combination to the mountains: the discipline of a large development company and the attention of a small custom builder.

How We Work
Every home managed from start to finish.
1
Site and Vision
We walk the lot with you, talk through how you want to live in the home, and establish realistic budgets before a line is drawn.
2
Design
Our architects and interior designers develop the home together, with construction cost reviewed at every milestone rather than at the end.
3
Build
Our long-standing Northern Nevada subcontractor team builds the home under our direct, daily supervision.
4
Move In
We manage final inspections, walkthroughs, and the warranty period, so you are never handed off to someone new.
