Who We Are

Lost Sierra Homes develops and builds custom mountain homes in the private golf communities of the Sierra. Some are ours: designed, financed, and underway, for buyers who want a head start without giving up a say in the finishes. Others we build for clients on their own land. The team is the same either way.

We are an affiliate of Tanamera Development, one of the largest residential and commercial developers in Reno, Nevada. Over the past two decades our team has designed and built 29 custom homes in Schaffer’s Mill, Martis Camp, and Old Greenwood, including the 2014 HGTV Dream Home. Today we are bringing that experience to Grizzly Ranch, in the heart of the Lost Sierra.

Where We Build

Four mountain golf communities across Truckee and the Lost Sierra. The Truckee communities are a 30 to 40 minute drive from Reno via I-80; Grizzly Ranch, in Portola, is about 45 minutes from Reno via US-395 and Highway 70.
